Multilingual sites
The plugins work on multilingual WordPress sites powered by WPML or Polylang, with one important limitation.
The cross-language matching problem
The plugin cannot distinguish between identical words used in different languages. A keyword like « stress » is spelled the same in English and French. If it appears as a focus keyword on both the English and French versions of a page, the plugin may create links that cross language boundaries — linking French content to English pages, or the reverse.
Workarounds
Run the SYNC process per language by selecting post types carefully. After SYNC, review the activity log for cross-language links and delete them manually. Use the keyword exclusion list to block words that are identical across your languages. Use per-page exclusion on pages where cross-language linking is problematic.
Future improvements
Full WPML/Polylang language awareness is on the development roadmap but is not yet available. The current architecture does not have access to the language taxonomy used by these plugins.
